#EndViolence against children

UNICEF began a campaign calling for an end to violence against children. Automatically, you would think why would they need to actually do a campaign on something so obvious right? Wrong.

Violence against children comes in so many different ways and it occurs throughout the world; ranging from war, gang violence, child slavery, child abuse, child marriage, bullying and so much more. I think we can all agree that every child deserves a life free of violence. So why in 2014 is it not so blatantly obvious?

Check out their website http://www.unicef.org/endviolence/ to see how you can get involved. It all begins with awareness.

“It’s the children the world almost breaks who grow up to save it.” Frank Warren.

We need to protect them now because they will determine the future of world peace. If we are tired of war, if we are tired of fighting; we have to start with the children.

Love and Light,
